acrylic on canvas
this is for a competition in Portugal. but I take every opportunity to work and develop this new formal style, which I will follow in the near future.
I prefer to call this phase as an idea that is being cooked in the oven, a beginning to mature ...
a conscious metamorphosis

it's impressive the position of the head trying to speak with the sky,
but I really don't understand what's that red line, look like a chair but it isn't, it start like a line and finish with some points,
it let me think(because the color of the line, so close to that draws you made without using brush) that you want try to mix and keep togheter yours two styles of paint, and I like this, but in this paint, the power of the body is less beacuse that points in the right side.
and also the arm, look quite small.
good luck for the competition
ok, I'll explain the red line. I saw how the figure was without nothing behind, and I did´t like with no sign of a chair or something there. So I got that line, but with a dual meaning. Yes is something where the figure is seated, but with this way of splashing red paint and inspired by the conceptual idea of designs, which speaks roberto, I explore the re-expression of a dramatic presence, resembling the blood .
