"Pragnienie" ("Craving, Desire")
Desire...
Whether of physical nature (thirst? lust?) or of spiritual nature (craving for freedom? love? a dream?) – there is something common in these feelings… that’s inner tear, burst, something that makes u feel incomplete, makes u fall into pieces. . .
The polish word “PRAGNIENIE” covers all those meanings.
This sculpture is an attempt to portray the complex state of mind which is desire.
Originally modelled in clay, finally casted in mixture of wax and powdered brick to enhance color.

Biblioteca ou Ensaio sobre Multiplicação de Planos*, 2010, David Oliveira
Biblioteca ou Ensaio sobre Multiplicação de Plano (Library or Essay for Multiple Planes) is an Installation Art where three sculptures ( 240cmX180cm) stand creating visual spaces and questioning the classic overview of a perspective as at the same time by using windows the author creates the suggestion of a non real space.
The drawings and the method used are proper of a tridimensional object – sculpture – building a visual game that explores the use of a line as a basic element for a composition.
Library is the start point for the study of space.
Materials: Iron, burned wire, steel string

sculpture made in Antwerp (Belgium) 10/2010
made gluing together wooden stick straight on the clay,
finish the figure just take off the clay from the hole between the wood, made this open the figures in wood (made that, now have the silouette of the clay), e fix it better with an armature, but, sorry for this, the sculpture felt in the floor and just tried to fix again withouth clay and for repair the pieces broken I've tried an interpratation.
tha name mom is just a game between the name light(of the lamp) and light as the weight of the figure, and also a joke that I think every one will see in a different way.
